Learning Plan Types
For more information about Learning Plans, see:
Type | Purpose / Notes |
---|---|
Application | Typically used for the initial application for a credential. |
Appellate | Some programs allow credentialing decisions to be appealed. The appeals application uses the “Appellate” type to differentiate it from the original application. This has been Deprecated. Appeals should be configured as additional steps on the Learning Plan workflow. |
Maintenance | Typically used for recertification or “maintenance of certification” applications in which an existing Practitioner must regularly take action to remain licensed or credentialed. |
Represents a process that does not provide or confer a credential. Typically this is used for things like a name change application, requesting a certificate reprint, etc. |
