Member Role Unique Identifiers

A Member Role's “Unique Identifier” is often used to represent a license or certification ID.

Overview

When a Member is assigned a new Role, a new Member Role is created to track the association. The system automatically generates a unique identifier for the Member Role.

These identifiers are often used to represent license or certification numbers. LearningBuilder can be configured to generate identifiers following specific patterns or conventions to match individual client needs.

The Unique Identifier itself is generated using an Autonumber. The “mask” and “seed” values can be configured at Admin → Roles → Edit Role.

For more information on the Autonumber “mask” syntax, see Autonumbers | Autonumber-Mask

Unique Identifier generation can be disabled, if desired, by clearing out the “mask” field in the Role configuration.
