Pathways - Configuration Settings

The https://heuristicsolutions.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOCS/pages/2921922580 is highly configurable. This page describes the settings in detail.

For business- and -scenario-oriented implementation guides, see the other subpages of https://heuristicsolutions.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOCS/pages/2871033998

Overview

The Pathways page is comprised of 4 distinct “sections”, each of which can be configured independently of the others:

  • Top section

  • Tab 1

  • Tab 2

  • Sidebar

Of these sections, Top Section and Tab 1 / Tab 2 are functionally identical and can be configured in a wide variety of ways. The sidebar is a slightly simplified component that serves a more focused purpose.

Tenant-specific settings

As of 11.0.29, each Tenant can have its own set of Pathways settings.

Tenants without their own set of settings will use the default Pathways settings.

Top section and the tabs

The top section of the page and the two tab containers are functionally identical (they offer the same configuration options), but are configured very differently by default.

Each of these sections can be configured to either show a list of Learning Plans without Credential information, OR to display a list of Credentials and their associated Learning Plans.

Filter by Credential Status

Filter by Credential Status config options

This option controls which Credentials can show up within that section.

Multiple selected options are “OR”ed together; checking multiple options will widen the set of Credentials that are matched, not narrow it.

Option

Purpose

Option

Purpose

Has earned or has begun an Application for

Matches any Credential for which the Practitioner has at least one Learning Plan Instance, in any status

Does not have, but is eligible to start

Matches any Credential where the Practitioner has zero Learning Plan Instances, but where either:

  • They are eligible to start a new Learning Plan, OR

  • They are eligible to begin the Grant Role Workflow that, once complete, will make them eligible to start a new Learning Plan

Does not have and is NOT eligible to start

Matches any Credential where the Practitioner has zero Learning Plans, and is not eligible to begin one using any of the paths listed above.

If this is the only option selected, then by definition the section will contain Credential information with no Learning Plan information.

Filter by Credential

This option can be used to include or exclude specific Credentials from the list.

This can be used to prevent unwanted Credentials from showing up based solely on the access control rules.
