New hires are provided a “desktop in the cloud” that already has the TRAINING site installed locally, for isolated use.
Getting started
You should be provided instructions for accessing your training workspace by your hiring manager.
You will need:
A Workspaces Client for your computer
A registration code, provided by the hiring manager
Your AWS OPS username and password, provided by the hiring manager
Logging in
Log into the Workspace client using your AWS OPS username and password.
You should land in a Windows desktop that looks like this:
Getting started
There is a “START HERE” shortcut on the desktop. Double click it to open Chrome to the onboarding page.
From here you can follow a link to the “Onboarding Guide” in Confluence, or you can click the “LearningBuilder Training” page for the training intro.
The training site is only accessible from the AWS Workspace client; it is installed directly onto your cloud-based desktop.
