Activity Offering Permissions

This page summarizes the different permission schemes that are supported by the Offerings system, and how to configure them.

Overview

Offerings can be managed within the Provider area, but special care must be taken to understand and apply the correct permission scheme.

Allow Admins to manage all Offerings

Grant admin roles the AdminArea:ViewAllOfferings permission to allow them to view a list of all Offerings in the system.

Also grant AdminArea:ManageOfferings if you want Admins to be able to manage Offerings for individual Activities from the Admin → Activities page.

Managing the Offerings for a specific Activity

Allow Organizations to manage their own Offerings

Grant an Organization the ProviderArea:ManageOfferings permission to allow them to access the Provider → Offerings page.

That permission will also allow Providers to manage Offerings for individual Activities from the Provider → Activities page.

Allow staff to manage their Organization’s Offerings

For Staff to manage Offerings on behalf of their parent Organizations, the “Manage Offerings” permission must be applied in three places:
