  1. Step 1 is assigned to an Administrator (non-practitioner) role. This step is the step the Activity will rest on when it is not ready to be completed.
  2. Step 1 has a scheduled behavior to move to the Practitioner-owned step according to a datebased to a date.  This date can be hardcoded in the behavior, a field on the activity definition or computed via a template is if date is relative to a cycle date.
  3. Create a Template attribute to calculate if/when the Activity is available complete
  4. Step 2 is assigned to the Practitioner and has the Assessment Instance attribute referencing the Assessment Definition attribute on the Create Activity Workflow
  5. If Pass/Fail messaging is desired, create two Templates to display each message on Step 2 and configure each one to only appear when the assessment attribute extended attributes report a Pass or Fail, respectively.
  6. If the practitioner is Passing vs Failing should impact the Practitioner differently, configure two actions on Step 2, one that is visible when Passing and one when Failing.  Attach behaviors to each to complete the workflow successfully or unsuccessfully and assign points, if needed, or display any other notifications.  Neither button should be visible until the assessment is complete.

Pre-add the Assessment Activities to the Learning Plan

  1. Create the Assessments that will be used in the longitudinal assessment program
  2. Create a Create Activity workflow with an Assessment Definition data type
  3. Create Activities to point to the longitudinal assessments
  4. Pre-add each of the Assessment Activities onto the Recertification Learning Plan
